iSchool has announced its continued and expanded contribution to the "Digital Egypt Cubs" initiative, part of the broader "Digital Egypt Generations" national programs, which aim to build future-ready digital talent and strengthen Egypt's position in the global digital economy.
The announcement came during the graduation ceremony of the 2025 cohorts of the "Digital Egypt Generations" initiatives, attended by Engineer Raafat Hindi, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology, alongside senior government officials and stakeholders. The initiatives are designed to equip children and youth with advanced digital skills in artificial intelligence, programming, data science, and cybersecurity.
As part of this national ecosystem, the "Digital Egypt Cubs" program — implemented by iSchool — plays a key role in introducing primary school students to foundational concepts in technology, computational thinking, and digital innovation. The program focuses on building early-stage awareness in artificial intelligence, coding, and modern technologies, enabling students to develop strong digital foundations from a young age.
In 2025 alone, more than 156,000 trainees participated across the "Digital Egypt Generations" initiatives, bringing the total number of beneficiaries since launch to approximately 277,000 individuals across multiple age groups and disciplines.
iSchool expressed pride in its contribution to the "Digital Egypt Cubs" initiative, having successfully graduated more than 130,000 students in fields including artificial intelligence, programming, and data science. This achievement represents the highest number of graduates among all participating initiatives, reinforcing iSchool's role as a leading contributor to Egypt's national digital education transformation.
The graduation ceremony was held at the Grand Celebration Hall of Cairo University under the theme "From One Generation to Another, We Build the Future," and was attended by a wide range of senior officials and experts from Egypt's education and technology ecosystem.
During the event, Engineer Raafat Hindi emphasized that the "Digital Egypt Generations" initiatives represent an integrated national framework that begins at an early age and extends through workforce readiness, with a strong focus on applied learning in artificial intelligence, software development, and cybersecurity.
Dr. Hoda Baraka highlighted that these initiatives are critical in building a sustainable pipeline of digital talent aligned with both local and global labor market demands, ensuring long-term competitiveness for Egyptian youth.
Commenting on iSchool's contribution, Mohamed Gawish stated: "We are proud of our role in implementing the 'Digital Egypt Cubs' initiative as part of Egypt's vision to build globally competitive digital generations. What we see today is clear evidence that investing in AI and programming education from an early age is not optional — it is a strategic necessity. At iSchool, our mission is to empower every child to become a creator of technology, not just a user."
iSchool reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to supporting Egypt's digital transformation strategy through innovative education models that combine interactive learning with practical application. These initiatives enable students to progress from foundational learning to innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship.
The company continues to expand its impact in technology education, contributing to Egypt's transition toward a knowledge-based economy and strengthening the ability of future generations to compete globally in advanced technology fields.
